By The Bay – Ahoy!

Hi again!  One more deadline due today…

Playing with Double D (#061825) and their Let’s Go To The Beach theme picking the bottom right image and combining it with Time Out (#291) and their Seashell Inspiration photo.

I chose the Freshly Made (#692) Sketch to bring my ideas together.

Here is the result:

Steps:

• Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Coastal Cabana cardstock.
• Background Panel: (5¼” x 4”) Pool Party cardstock dry-embossed with the So Swirly Embossing Folder.
• Side Panel: (1¾” x 5¼”) Pool Party/Coastal Cabana/Balmy Blue Watercolor Wash piece of paper from the retired By The Bay Specialty Designer Series Paper pack.
• Squares: (1¾” x 6”) Silver Veined Night of Navy patterned piece of paper from the same Paper pack die-cut with the (1½” x 1½”) Square Stitched die from the Stylish Shapes Dies set.
• Decoration: Blue Toned Seashell patterned piece of paper from the same Paper pack.  Various Seashells were fussy-cut with Paper Snips and added to the Squares with Dimensionals.
• Sentiment Banner: Basic White cardstock scrap.
  • The sentiment, Ahoy!, from the Sunrise Sailing stamp set, an On-Line Exclusive product, was stamped with Night of Navy ink and die-cut with the (2¼” x ⅞”) Stitched Banner die, also from the same Dies set.

All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the sketch.

A very nice beachy hello card perfect for summer greetings.
