Design Time: Facebook Case-ing Tuesday (#516) Sketch. Today? The card can be found on page 144 of the May 2025 – Apr 2026 Annual Catalog.

CASE: (Copy and Steal Everything) Making it exactly the same; (Copy and Slightly Edit) Almost the same with a little variation; (Copy and Selectively Edit) Changing things. You are welcome to choose how you create.
I really like this card and short of changing colors and sentiments, I kept it pretty much the same. It is a really nice beginner’s card with a few upgrades by employing a few tools that you may have at your disposal.
The colors were inspired by Color Throwdown (#834) and translated to Stampin’ Up! Colors for the #CreativeChallengeSU for June and shared with Inkspirational (#343) as their mood board sported similar colors.

Here is the result:

Steps:
- Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Coastal Cabana cardstock.
- Accent Mat: (3½” x 4¼”) Timid Tiger cardstock.
- Card Front: (3½” x 4¼”) Coastal Cabana Smooshed patterned piece of paper from the 2025/2026 Brights Collection Designer Series Paper pack.
- The paper was die-cut with Partial Leaf die from the Gallery Blooms Dies set.
- Decoration – Flowers: (4” x 2”) Basic White cardstock pieces colored using Blending Brushes with Shaded Spruce and Timid Tiger inks.
- The Queen Anne’s Lace die, also from the Gallery Blooms Dies set, was used to die-cut the Flowers.
- Sentiment Circle: (2” x 2”) Shaded Spruce cardstock scrap die-cut with the (1⅝”) Stitched Circle die from the Stylish Shapes Dies set.
- The sentiment, you make my heart smile, from the Layers of Beauty stamp set was mounted to the stamping block in curves and stamped with Versamark ink and heat-set with White Embossing Powder.
- Sentiment Label: Basic White cardstock scrap.
- The sentiment, just a note, from the Beautiful Motifs stamp set was stamped with Timid Tiger ink and closely trimmed and snipped on the diagonal. Finished size: (2¼” x ⅜”).
All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the sketch, and the Sentiment Circle was popped up with Dimensionals. A few Timid Tiger 2025/2027 In-Color Flat Pearls were added for a bit of bling.
Do you like this color combination? I think the Timid Tiger color gives it a little pop.
I am looking forward to seeing what you will create with the Case-ing Tuesday sketch.

What a lovely layered design with your off-set panels and layered die cuts Jolanda – a pretty sponged background for the die cut stems! thanks for sharing with us at Inkspirational: Moodboard! Julia xx
