Beautiful Motifs – Hello

Welcome back!  Wishing you a great Sunday and hoping you find a few moments to be creative…

Today, I started with the Freshly Made (#686) Sketch.

And was influenced by the Just Us Girls (#775) Mood Board full of delightful colors gravitating to the Upper Heart area with reds, pinks, yellows and oranges; Inkspirational (#341) with the word, HOT, as in hot colors; and Inspire Create (#193) for their Summer Vibes theme with a burst of vibrant summer blooms.

Here is the result:

Steps:

• Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Timid Tiger cardstock.
• Background Panel: (4” x 5¼”) Timid Tiger Diagonal Stripe patterned piece of paper from the Celebratory Sips Designer Series Paper pack.
• Cross Strip: (4” x 2¾”) Floral patterned piece of paper, the reverse side of the diagonal pattern.
• Window Panel: (2½” x 4”) Timid Tiger cardstock die-cut with the (2¼” x 3¾”) Decorative Edge Rectangle die from the Textured Notes Dies set, an On-Line Exclusive product.
  • The Panel was further die-cut with the (1½” x 2⅝”) Decorative Edge Hexagonal die from the Mixed Labels Dies set, also an On-Line Exclusive product to create the Window opening.
  • The Hexagonal Label was fussy-cut with Paper Snips along the interior emboss line and added to the Window to show the decorative edge.
• Sentiment Label: Basic White cardstock scrap.
  • The greeting, Hello, from the Beautiful Motifs stamp set was stamped with Timid Tiger ink and die-cut with the (1½” x ½”) Label die, also from the Mixed labels Dies set.

All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the sketch and the Greeting was popped up with Dimensionals.
