Moon Baby – Hello

Welcome back!  I have a sweet baby card for you today.

Over at Facebook’s Global Design Project (#495), the theme is Baby and I selected the suggested Color Palette from TGIF (#523) to go with.

Here is the result:

Steps:

• Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Basic White cardstock.
• Background Panel: (4” x 5¼”) Basic White cardstock dry-embossed with the retired Tufted 3D Embossing Folder for a soft pillow effect.
• Accent Mat: (3¼” x 3¼”) Balmy Blue cardstock die-cut with the (3” x 3”) Scalloped Square die from the retired Layering Squares Framelits Dies set.
• Focal Panel: (3¼” x 3¼”) Basic White cardstock.
  • The Sleeping Baby image from the retired Moon Baby stamp set was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink as was the sentiment, Hello Baby.
  • The image was colored with Stampin’ Blends Markers. Colors chosen: Baby Skin – Light Petal Pink; Baby Hair – Dark Daffodil Delight; Onesie – Light and Dark Petunia Pop; Moon – Light and Dark Daffodil Delight; and Star – Light and Dark Balmy Blue.

All elements were adhered to the card base. I like clean and simple cards, especially for babies, and the stamp set Moon Baby is a keeper…
