Mountain Air – Inspired Thoughts

Welcome back!  Happy Sunday…a quick little clean and simple card for you this morning.

For Creative Colour (#190) and the Inspired By (#333s) Mirrored Sketch which worked really well with my idea.

Here is the result:

MOUNTAIN AIR – TEXTURES & FRAMES – INSPIRED THOUGHTS – CCC190 – IB333s

Steps:

  • Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Basic White cardstock.
  • Background Panel: (3¾” x 5”) Pecan Pie cardstock.
    • The sentiment, Sending healing thoughts your way, from the retired Inspired Thoughts stamp set was stamped with Pecan Pie ink and then the panel was dry-embossed with the retired Subtle 3D Embossing Folder.
  • Shape: (2″ x 2¾”) Basic White cardstock.
    • Using Shapes from the retired Textures & Frames stamp set, the background scene was created.  Grass / Ground – 2nd Generation Mossy Meadow ink; Water – 2nd Generation Afternoon Azure ink; and Sky – 3rd Generation Afternoon Azure ink.
    • Using the Tip of the Single Tree from the retired Mountain Air stamp set, the Tree was stamped with Pecan Pie ink and the reflection Tree was stamped with 2nd Generation Pecan Pie ink.
    • The Scene was then fussy-cut with Paper Snips.

All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the mirror image of the sketch.

A quiet and reflective sympathy card.
