Memorable Blooms – Thanks So Much – The Inque Spot Studio

Design Time: The Facebook Case-ing Tuesday (#507) Challenge where we copy and selectively edit a card found within Stampin’ Up!’s current catalogs. Today? The card can be found on page 60 of the Jan – Apr Mini Catalog.

As it happens, Facebook’s Stampin’ Through the Catalog is featuring the stamp set Memorable Blooms today and I paired it up the Color Dare (#645) palette

Here is the result:

MEMORABLE BLOOMS BUNDLE – CT507 – STTC – CD645

Steps:

Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Mossy Meadow cardstock.
Top and Bottom Trim: (4” x 1¼”) Daffodil Delight and Petal Pink Cross Hatch patterned pieces of paper from the retired Hello, Irresistible Designer Series Paper pack.
Accent Trim: (4” x ½”) Mossy Meadow cardstock scraps
Center Panel: (4” x 3½”) Daffodil Delight and Petal Pink Dotted Dash patterned piece of paper also from the Hello, Irresistible Designer Series Paperpack.
- An Oval shape was die-cut from the center with the (1⅞” x 2½”) Stitched Oval die from the Linked Together Dies set.
Shape – Oval: (2¼” x 2¾”) Soft Sea Foam cardstock scrap.
- Using the same oval die, another Oval was die cut and then dry-embossed with the retired Subtle 3D Embossing Folder for a little texture.
Decoration – Flower: Basic White cardstock scrap.
- The smaller Floral image from the Memorable Blooms stamp set was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored with Stampin’ Blends Markers. Colors chosen: Dark Petal Pink and Light Flirty Flamingo along with Dark Soft Sea Foam and Light Mossy Meadow.
- The Flower was then die-cut with the coordinating die from the Memorable Blooms Dies set.
Sentiment: Mossy Meadow cardstock scrap.
- The sentiment, Thanks so much, also from the Memorable Blooms stamp set, was stamped with Versamark ink and heat-set with White Embossing Powder and then die-cut with the (1¾”) Stitched Circle die from the Stylish Shapes Dies set.

All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the sketch. Both the Flowers and the Sentiment were popped up with Dimensionals.

A pretty little Thank You card.
