Textured Notes – Note of Appreciation

Time again for Facebook Case-ing Tuesday (#504), where we CASE (Copy and Selectively Edit) cards found within Stampin’ Up!’s current catalogs.  Today?  The card can be found on page 38 of the Jan – Apr Mini Catalog.

Influences: Just Add Ink (#742) Foliage filled Sunroom for inspiration; Just Us Girls (#742) for Color; and Make My Monday (#247) to use Dies and/or Punches.

Here is the result:

Steps:

• Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Garden Green cardstock.
• Background Panel: (4” x 5¼”) Granny Apple Green dry-embossed with the Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder.
• Rectangles: (3⅜” x 1”) Soft Sea Foam cardstock die-cut with the Stitched Banner die from the Stylish Shapes Dies set.
  • The sentiment, a little note of appreciation, from the Textured Notes stamp set, an On-Line Exclusive product, was stamped with Shaded Spruce ink.
• Decoration – Foliage: Garden Green cardstock scraps.
  • The Leaf on the left was die-cut with the Leafy die from the Memorable Blooms Dies set.
  • The Leaf on the right was die-cut with the Leafy die from the Textured Florals Dies set.
  • The Leaf on the top right was die-cut with the Small Leaf die from the Layers of Beauty Dies set.
• Rhinestone Basic Jewels were colored with the Dark Mossy Meadow Stampin’ Blends Marker.

All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the sketch.

Something so relaxing about the color Green and to sit in an oasis of wonderful Leafy Plants.
