Holiday Celebration – Have a Cup on Us

Hi again!  How about a bit more green?  This time for a Holiday card.

The challenges: Caffeinated Christmas Card (#39); Jingle Belles (#2505); Addicted to Stamps and More (#487) and bringing my ideas together, the Sunday Stamps (#355) sketch.

Here is the result:

TIMELESS TIDINGS – ITTY BITTY CHRISTMAS – CCCC39 – JB2505 – ATSAM487 – SSC355

Steps:

  • Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Pretty Peacock cardstock.
  • Background Panel (4” x 5¼”) Distressed Gold Specialty Paper (retired)
  • Top & Bottom Blocks: (3” x 1¼”) Soft Succulent and Gold colored patterned pieces of paper from the retired Dry Brushed Metallic Specialty Designer Series Paper pack.
  • Center Block: (3” x 1¼”) Green and Gold Marbled patterned piece of paper from the retired Expressions in Ink Specialty Designer Series Paper pack.
  • Shape – Circle: (2¾” x 2¾”) Pretty Peacock retired Soft Shimmer Specialty Paper die-cut with the (2½”) Stitched Circle die from the Stylish Shapes Dies set.
  • Focal Image – Coffee Cup: (2” x 2½”) Green Marbled patterned piece of paper, also from the Expressions in Ink Specialty Designer Series Paper pack.
    • The Poinsettia image from the retired Timeless Tidings stamp set was stamped with Versamark ink and heat-set with Gold Embossing Powder and then die-cut with the Coffee Cup die from the Stamp Simply – Have a Cup on Us Dies set.
  • Sentiment Banner: Pretty Peacock cardstock scrap.
    • The truncated sentiment, Celebrate, from the retired Itty Bitty Christmas stamp set was also stamped with Versamark ink and heat-set with Gold Embossing Powder and then die-cut with the (1½” x ½”) Banner die, also from the Stylish Shapes Dies set.

All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the sketch, and the Coffee Cup and Sentiment Banner were popped up with Dimensionals.  Several Adhesive Backed Metallic Gems were added for additional bling.

A festive, blingy holiday card.
