Spring Birthday – Greetings For All

Time again for Facebook Case-ing Tuesday (#502), where we CASE (Copy and Selectively Edit) cards found within Stampin’ Up!’s current catalogs.  Today?  The card can be found on page 2 of the Jan – Apr Mini Catalog.

Other challenges that informed my choices today include: Seize The Birthday (#300) with a no stamping twist and Inspired By (#325) for the Gingham theme.

I opted to create a clean and simple card for Inkspirational (#336) using Ephemera and AAA Cards (#285) using Spring Colors.

Here is the result:

GREETINGS FOR ALL EPHEMERA PACK – CT502 – STB300 – IB325 – AC336 – AAACC285

Steps:

  • Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Basic White cardstock.
  • Background Panel: (3½” x 4¾”) Pool Party Gingham patterned piece of vellum from the Floral & Gingham Vellum Specialty Designer Series Paper pack.
  • Accent Panel: (2¾” x 4¼”) Basic White cardstock dry-embossed with the retired Subtle 3D Embossing Folder.
  • Cross Panel: (3½” x 1”) Lemon Lolly cardstock dry-embossed with the retired Zinnia 3D Embossing Folder.
  • Sentiment Mat: (2¾” x ½”) Coastal Cabana cardstock scrap.
  • Sentiment: Black & White Happy Birthday laser-cut piece from the Greetings For All Mix & Match Ephemera Pack.
  • Shapes – Floral Circles: Basic White cardstock scraps and the Lemon Lolly Floral patterned piece of vellum, also from the Floral & Gingham Vellum Specialty Designer Series Paper pack.
    • Three Flowers and three Base pieces were die-cut with the (1¼”) Stitched Circle die from the Stylish Shapes Dies set and adhered together.

All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the sketch.  Several Summer Splash 2024/2026 in-Color Shimmer Gems were added for a bit of dewy sparkle.

Truly a fresh spring birthday card.

I am looking forward to seeing how you choose to use the sketch this week.
