The Gang’s All Meer

Welcome back.  A quick little card for you today…

Over at AAA Cards (#284), we have a fun little clean and simple sketch and over at Sunday Stamps (#354), we have some cool spring colors.

Here is the result:

Steps:

• Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Pecan Pie cardstock.
• Card Front: (4⅛” x 5⅜”) Basic White cardstock.
  • The Meer Cat Gang image from the retired The Gang’s All Meer stamp set was stamped with Pecan Pie ink, as was the Popping Up Meer Cat image and the sentiment, We’re Here For You.
  • The Meer Cats were colored with Stampin’ Blends Markers.  Colors chosen: First Pass – Light Daffodil Delight; Some Details – Light Cajun Craze; Second Blending – Light Daffodil Delight; and the Adult Meer Cats – Dark Daffodil Delight Blending.  Some Ground Details were enhanced with the Light Pecan Pie Stampin’ Blend Marker.
  • Using Blending Brushes, Pool Party ink was added at the Horizon Level and Soft Sea Foam ink was added to the Ground and Sky.

And that’s a wrap! Quick, clean and simple…It was fun to dig out this stamp set.  You can’t help but smile when you see them.
