Floral Thinking of You

Welcome back!  The weekend has arrived, and I am hoping you will have some time to be creative.

For Just Add Ink (#739), I selected Thinking of You and Embossing from the three choices offered this week.

I picked the suggested Facebook Stampin’ Up! Colour (February) Palette and the Freshly Made (#674) Sketch to bring my ideas together.

Here is the result:

Steps:

• Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Soft Sea Foam cardstock.
• Arc Panel: (2” x 5¼”) Soft Sea Foam Stylized Floral patterned piece of paper from the 2024/2025 Subtles Collection Designer Series Paper pack die-cut with the Stitched Arc die from the retired Basic Borders Dies set.
  • The sentiment, Thinking of You, from the Sketched Butterflies stamp set was stamped into Versamark ink and then Coastal Cabana ink and heat-set with Clear Embossing Powder for the Clear Color Embossing Technique
• Side Panel: (3” x 5¼”) Basic White cardstock colored and dry-embossed with Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder.
  • The top side of the embossing folder was inked with Fresh Freesia ink applied with the Stampin’ Brayer.
• Decoration – Floral Elements: Soft Sea Foam, Fresh Freesia and Coastal Cabana cardstock scraps die-cut with various dies from the Painted Lavender Dies set.

All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the sketch.

A very pretty and soft card suitable for many occasions.
