Memorable Blooms – Celebrate

Welcome back!  A Wednesday deadline…where did the time go?   

As You See It (#341) has one of my favorite challenges – a recipe.  You have to hit all the marks and I hope I did it justice.

I matched it up with the Sketch Saturday (#769) layout.

Here is the result:

Steps:

• Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Pool Party cardstock.
• Background Panel: (4” x 5¼”) Lemon Lolly patterned piece of paper from the 2024/2025 Subtles Collection Designers Series Paper pack dry-embossed with the Free Sale-a-bration Starstruck Embossing Folder.
• Vertical Cross Strip: (1½” x 4¾”) Pool Party Gingham from the Flowers & Gingham Vellum Specialty Designer Series Paper pack.
• Top Side Decoration – Leafy Frond: Pool Party cardstock scrap die-cut with the Leaf die from the Memorable Blooms Dies set, and On-Line Exclusive product.
• Central Shape – Floral Octagon: (3½” x 3½”) Basic White cardstock and Pretty in Pink Mottled patterned piece of paper from the Lily Pond Lane Designer Series Paper pack.
  • The Basic White cardstock and Pretty in Pink Designer Series Paper were die-cut with the Octagon die, also from the Memorable Blooms Dies set.
  • The Pretty in Pink Designer Series Paper piece was further die-cut with the coordinating Floral Inset die for the Bottom Side Decoration.
  • The chads were removed, and the Hexagons were adhered together.
• Sentiment: Pool Party cardstock scrap.
  • The word, Celebrate, from the Unbounded Love stamp set was stamped with Versamark ink and heat-set with White Embossing Powder and then punched out with the retired (1¾” x ⅞”) Oval Punch.

All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the sketch.  The Sentiment Oval was popped up with Dimensionals and a double White Baker’s Twine Bow was added to complete the card/recipe.

A pretty pastel card.
