New Wonders – A brand-new page

Welcome back!  Happy Sunday to you.  Hoping you find some time to be creative.

A quick little card for you today.  A clean and simple, simple stamping card.  Just Stamps, Ink and Paper.

The Challenges: CAS Colours & Sketches (#552) for the layout and Creative Colour (#178) for the palette.

Here is the result:

NEW WONDERS – CC&S552 – CCC178

Steps:

  • Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Basic White cardstock.
  • Card Front: (5¼” x 4”) Basic White cardstock.
    • The Corner Paper Angel and the sentiment, Each new page…, from the retired New Wonders stamp set was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink.
    • The image was water-colored using the Fine-Tipped Water Painter Brush picking up color from the Ink Pad Lids.  Colors chosen: Hair and Wings – Smoky Slate; Dress and Little Hearts – Moody Mauve; Paper Page – Petal Pink; and Leaves – Coastal Cabana

A sweet little card.
