Welcome back! Friday again. Where does the week go?
Valentines seems to be the order of the day. That said, here are the challenges I played with this morning:
Global Design Project (#479) Love Notes and Heart’s Quest (#69) Multicolored Hearts.

Choosing Creative Colour (#176) for the palette and the Atlantic Hearts (#612) Sketch.

Here is the result:

Steps:
- Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Blueberry Bushel cardstock.
- Background Panel: (5¼” x 4”) Real Red cardstock dry-embossed with the retired Happy Hearts Textured Imnpressions Embossing Folder.
- Cross Strip: Replaced by the Hearts.
- Accent Mats: (1½” x 3⅝”) Highland Heather cardstock.
- Rectangles: (1⅜” x 3½”) Basic White cardstock.
- Decoration – Hearts: (1¼” x 3½”) Blueberry Bushel, Real Red and Highland Heather Dotted patterned pieces of paper from the 2024/2025 Regals and Subtles Collection Designer Series Paper packs die-cut with Heart die from the retired Hearts a Flutter Framelits Dies set.
- The Hearts were adhered to the Basic White Rectangles.
- Sentiment: (2¾” x ⅝”) Highland Heather cardstock scrap.
- The sentiment, You are loved, from the Unbounded Love stamp set was stamped with Versamark ink and heat-set with White Embossing Powder.
All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the sketch. The Sentiment was popped up with Dimensionals and two small White retired Classic Matte Dots were added.
Happy Valentine’s Day!

Awesome Valentine card, Jolanda!!! Way to use the color palette for different heart shapes in the grid layout! The embossed backgrounds are great too for some texture and dimension to those layers! Thanks for creating and sharing for Heart’s Quest #69 anything goes theme using multi-color hearts! Wonderful way to do the multi-color hearts using 3 print papers! — Becca
