Merry Café – Happy Christmas

While Christmas has just ended, there are several challenges that get you ready for the next one…so here we go.  Ho, Ho, Ho!

The challenges: Caffeinated Christmas Cards (#37) adding Snowflakes and Krafty Chicks (#750) Christmas Anything Goes. I am also sharing this card with Jingle Belles (#2502) adding something new – Mixed Labels Dies and Park Hopping (January) for their coffee theme.

I chose the Freshly Made (#668) Sketch and the TGIF (#506) Colors to bring my ideas together.

Here is the result:

MERRY CAFE – ITTY BITTY CHRISTMAS – CCCC37 – KCC750 – JB2502 – PHC January 2025 – FMS668 – TGIFC506

Steps:

  • Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Balmy Blue cardstock.
  • Background Panel: (4” x 5¼”) Night of Navy patterned paper from the retired Brushstroke Specialty Designer Series Paper Pack.
  • Right Strip: (1” x 4¾”) Balmy Blue retired Textured Shimmer Paper.
  • Center Strip: (⅜” x 4¼”) Silver Foil.
  • Left Block: (1¾” x 4¼’) White retired Textured Shimmer Paper.
  • Shape – Coffee Cup: Lagoon, Sapphire and White Daisy Spotted patterned piece of paper from the retired Soda Pop Paper Packet – CTMH.
    • The Coffee Cup image from the retired Merry Café stamp set was stamped with Night of Navy ink and fussy-cut with Paper Snips.
    • Decoration – Coffee Cup: (2” x 3”) Silver Foil.
    • Two Snowflakes were die-cut with Snowflake dies from the retired Seasonal Layers Thinlits Dies set and adhered to the Coffee Cup.
  • Sentiment Label: Night of Navy Brushstroke Specialty Designer Series Paper scrap.
    • The sentiment, Happy Christmas, from the retired Itty Bitty Christmas stamp set was stamped with Versamark ink and heat-set with White Embossing Powder and then die-cut with the small Label die from the new Mixed Labels Dies set, an On-Line Exclusive product.

All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the sketch and the Coffee Cup and Sentiment were popped up with Dimensionals.  A few White Snowflakes from the retired Adhesive-Backed Snowflake Assortment Pack were added for a bit more wintery bling.

A Cup of Winter Cheer!
