Welcome back! Happy Sunday.
I have a quick little clean and simple, simple stamping card for you this morning. Vickie has a very nice color selection this week at Creative Colour (#170), and I thought they would be ideal to showcase one of the new On-Line Exclusive stamp sets – Umbrella Days. This set also comes as a Bundle with matching Dies, but I did not use them today.

Here is the result:

Steps:
- Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Smoky Slate cardstock.
- Focal Panel: (4” x 5¼”) Basic White cardstock.
- The sentiment, Woman, Child and Rain images were stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink.
- The area under the Umbrellas was masked with a Post-It-Note so that the Rain did not go below them.
- The scene was colored with Stampin’ Blends Markers. Colors chosen: Umbrellas – Light Smoky Slate; Boots – Dark Smoky Slate; Pants – Light Smoky Slate; Woman’s Coat – Light and Dark Flirty Flamingo; Child’s Coat – Light and Dark Highland Heather; Child’s Hands – Ivory; and Woman’s Hair – Bronze.
- Using my Black Fine-Tipped Liquid Gel Pen, I added water puddles around their feet.
- Decoration – Mini Flags. Highland Heather and Flirty Flamingo cardstock scraps die-cut with the Mini Flag die from the retired All That Dies set. They were trimmed and added to the Panel with a Stapler.
Quick and easy but rather cute. A smile for some support.
Thanks for spending some more of your time with me today. Cheers, Jolanda!

That’s a great card – very appropriate for the UK weather at the moment (although I don’t think those brollies would last long in the current high winds!)
