Fall Frames – Happy Birthday

Welcome back!  A brand-new week and some time to play.

Starting with the Color Throwdown (#818) Palette.

I opted for the Christmas (or not) Bingo (#10) Board – Letter N and the Paper Craft Crew (#595) Sketch creating a clean and simple Birthday card for CAS on Friday (#296).

Selecting a Fall theme for Ellibelle’s I Spy (#20) Colors of the Season and sharing with Four Seasons (November) adding Leaves.

Here is the result:

Steps:

• Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Very Vanilla cardstock.
• Card Front: (4¼” x 5½”) Very Vanilla Cardstock.
  • Masking: A double mask was created by die-cutting the Two Leaf die from the retired Bloom Dies set from a scrap piece of cardstock.
  • Using Blending Brushes, the Mask, Tangelo Twist (R), Mossy Meadow and Cherry Cobbler inks, the Leaves were created.
  • The sentiment, happy birthday, from the Attention Shoppers stamp set was added with Mossy Meadow ink.
• Frames: Using the (1½”) and (1⅞”) Stitched Square dies from the Stylish Shapes Dies set, the Frames were die cut from the coordinating-colored cardstock.
• Enamel Dots:  Using the Dark Pumpkin Pie, Mossy Meadow and Cherry Cobbler Stampin’ Blends Markers, the retired White Classic Matte Dots were colored to match.

All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the sketch.
