Just a Little Note – Happy Harvest

Welcome back!  Another quick little CAS (Clean & Simple) card for you today.

Inspiration: Addicted to CAS (#267) Theme; Color Dare (#618) Palette; and CAS Colours & Sketches (#545) for the layout to bring everything together.

Here is the result:

Steps:

• Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Basic White cardstock.
• Focal Panel: (3⅞” x 5⅛”) Basic White cardstock.
  • The Floral Spray image and the Single Flower image from the retired Happy Harvest stamp set were stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink.
  • The sentiment, Just a Little Note, from the Penciled Pear stamp set was also stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink.
  • The stamped images were set by giving the panel a quick blast of heat from the Heat Tool.
  • Using the Fine-Tipped Water Painter Brush and the ink colors: Soft Sea Foam, Flirty Flamingo and Pretty Peacock, added to Blocks, the Floral Spray was water-colored.
  • For the Sentiment Banner, I created Masks from Copy Paper using the Deckled Rectangles Dies set.
  • With the Masks in place, I chose the retired Soft Sky ink color, a lighter than Soft Sea Foam slightly greenish tone, and a Blending Brush to create the Banner.

A one layer, clean and simple Note Card with a little touch of Fall Flowers.
