Splendid Autumn – You Make Me Happy

Welcome back!  Sneaking in a quick card post this afternoon’s class…

The Challenges: Just Us Girls (#745); Beautiful Blossoms (#21); As You See It (#332); and sharing with Ellibelle’s Crafty Wednesday (September).

Here is the result:

Steps:

• Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Crushed Curry cardstock.
• Background Panel: (5¼” x 4”) Mossy Meadow cardstock dry-embossed with the Fern 3D Embossing Folder.
• Cross Strip: (5¼” x 1½”) Cajun Craze cardstock dry-embossed with the Dashing Designs 3D Embossing Folder.
• Secondary Cross Strips: (12”) Braided Linen Trim (retired) in the Crumb Cake color still in my stash.
• Accent Mat: (4⅛” x 2⅜”) Crushed Curry cardstock.
• Focal Panel: (4” x 2¼”) Floral patterned piece of paper from the Splendid Autumn Designer Series Paper pack.
• Shape – Sentiment: Very Vanilla cardstock scrap.
  • Mossy Meadow ink was added to the Thoughtful Moments Embossing Folder over the “You Make Me Happy” sentiment and die-cut with the coordinating Thoughtful Moments Die set.

All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the sketch.

A lovely Fall Floral card.
