Hi again! One quick little card…
I have very little by way of “puns” and an internet search for something clever to go with an image I might have, yielding nothing interesting…
So, for Addicted to CAS (#266), I selected an old favorite vintage style stamp set, Puns from the Past, for this card.

Here is the result:

Steps:
- Card Base: (4¼” x 8¾” scored at 5½”) Soft Sea Foam cardstock.
- Accent Mat: (2¼” x 3”) Basic Black cardstock.
- Focal Image Panel: (1¾” x 2½”) Basic White cardstock scrap.
- From the Puns from the Past stamp set, I selected the Fan. When I put the stamp set together, I cut the puns and the images apart and mounted them separately on the wooden Blocks.
- Both the image and the pun were stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink.
- The edges of the Panel were colored with Lost Lagoon ink applied with a Sponge Dauber.
- The Fan was die-cut with the (1⅜” x 1⅜”) Square Stamp die from the Perennial Postage Dies set.
- The “Stamp” was colored with Soft Sea Foam ink using a Blending Brush and the edges were also colored with Lost Lagoon ink applied with a Sponge Dauber.
All elements were adhered to the card base. The “Stamp” was fitted back into the Panel and popped up with Dimensionals, keeping the design clean and simple.
Thanks for spending some of your time with me today. Cheers, Jolanda!
