Welcome back! Having a go with a Fun Fold designed card for a fellow. I don’t know about you, but I like to make clean and simple cards for guys.
The Challenges: The Male Room (#190) requesting a Fun Fold; Love Those Pretty Papers (#3) with a Fall twist; Park Hopping (September) with a Food & Wine theme; and sharing with Creative Creases (#90) who excel in Fun Folds.
Here is the result:
Steps:
- Card Base: (4¼” x 8¾” scored at 5½”) Mossy Meadow cardstock.
- Inside Accent Mat: (4” x 5¼”) Basic White cardstock.
- Inside Background Panel: (3¾” x 5”) Green Pinstriped patterned piece of paper from the Close To My Heart Mix-In (May-Jun) Paper Packet, an On-Line Exclusive product.
- Outside Panel: (4” x 3“) Green and White Dotted patterned piece of paper from the same paper packet (the reverse side).
- Mini Card Base: (2¼” x 8” scored at 4”) Mossy Meadow cardstock.
- Focal Image / Inside Panels: (2” x 3¾”) Basic White cardstock.
- The sentiment, It’s Your Day, and the large Pear image, from the Penciled Pear stamp set were stamped with Mossy Meadow ink.
- The Pear was colored with both the Light Old Olive and Lemon Lime Twist Stampin’ Blends Markers.
With a little glue, the layers were adhered in place for a truly #simplestamping, clean and simple Harvest Fall Fun Fold Birthday card suitable for a fellow.

Oh, wow, this fun fold card is wonderful! I love that you used the pear stamp set, since I haven’t seen it inked up much. The fold is great because it really give patterned paper a place to take center stage as well. Thank you for playing with the Creative Creases Challenge, and I hope you can join us again soon.
