Design Time: This round at Hand Stamped Sentiments (#446) we have a sketch. It presents as a Slim Line but I chose to create an A2 card.
My design choices were influenced by several similar themed challenges. Sunday Stamps (#343) Inspiration Photo and Colors; Can You Handle The Pressure (#62) Twist – Leaves; Four Seasons (September) Fall Mood Board; and the Facebook Joy Of Sets (September) Theme.
Here is the result:
Steps:
- Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Cajun Craze cardstock.
- The sentiment, Thanks so much, from the Latte Love stamp set, an On-Line Exclusive product, was stamped with Versamark ink and heat-set with White Embossing Powder.
- Accent Mat: (4⅞” X 3⅛”) Early Espresso cardstock.
- Background Panel: (4¾” x 3”) Very Vanilla cardstock dry-embossed with the Leaf Fall 3D Embossing Folder, also an On-Line Exclusive product.
- Shapes – Leaves: Wild Wheat, Cajun Craze and Crushed Curry cardstock scraps die-cut with the Open Leaf die from the Paper Pumpkin Add-On Every Celebration Dies set. Available On-Line to Paper Pumpkin Kit subscribers.
All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the sketch.
Fall has arrived and so, too, the colors. A seasonal Thank You card.
