Welcome to Sunday and the newest Paper Players (#705) challenge. This week, Joanne has chosen a fun option for us. Are you team Spots or team Stripes?

I selected the Atlantic Hearts (#592) Sketch for my Spots and am showcasing the Sentimental Wishes Bundle (stamp set and dies) and the Take a Bow Designer Series Paper, new Holiday products that will be available on September 4th.

Here is the result:

Steps:
- Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Basic White cardstock.
- Background Panel: (4” x 5¼”) Real Red / Basic White Dot patterned piece of paper.
- Diagonal Sentiment Strip: (4½” x 1”) Garden Green Dot patterned piece of paper.
- The sentiment, Sending Love & Christmas Cheer, from the retired Delivering Cheer stamp set was stamped with Versamark ink and heat-set with White Embossing Powder. The sentiment was chosen for the message as well as its compact size.
- Diagonal Panel: (4½” x 1¾”) Multi Colored Dot patterned piece of paper.
- Focal Image – Christmas Stocking & Holly: Basic White cardstock scraps.
- The Christmas Stocking and the Holly images were stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored with Stampin’ Blends Markers. Colors selected: Both Light and Dark Real Red, Granny Apple Green and Wild Wheat along with Light Mossy Meadow and Smoky Slate.
- The Christmas Stocking and the Holly were die-cut with the coordinating Dies.
All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the sketch. The Christmas Stocking was popped up with Dimensionals.
I love a red and green Holiday card and this one has it in spades. Dots and Spots and more…
