Unbounded Love – Feel Better Soon

Hope you are having an excellent Sunday!  We popped out for lunch, trying a new-to-us restaurant and had a lovely time.

Like sympathy cards, I rarely make get well cards.  I have a friend that needs a little pick me up and the soothing palette suggested by Color Throwdown (#807) was just perfect.

I selected one of the Stampin’ Up! Sketch Templates and this one can be found in the new Fall Mini Catalog.

Here is the result

Steps:

• Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Boho Blue cardstock.
• Background Panel: (4⅛” x 5⅜”) Very Vanilla cardstock dry-embossed with the Distressed Tile 3D Embossing Folder.
• Cross Strip Accent Mat: (4⅛” x 1⅝”) Crumb Cake cardstock.
• Cross Strip: (4⅛” x 1⅜”) Boho Blue Striped patterned piece of paper from the retired Poetic Expressions Designer Series Paper pack.
• Shape – Flowers: Crumb Cake, Very Vanilla and Boho Blue cardstock scraps die-cut with dies from the retired Timeless Charm Dies set.
• Sentiment Label: Very Vanilla cardstock scrap.
  • The sentiment, Feel Better Soon, from the Unbounded Love stamp set was stamped with Boho Blue ink and then die-cut with the small Stitched Label die from the Wild Ferns Dies set.

All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the sketch with the Flowers and Sentiment popped up with Dimensionals.
