Enjoy the Sweeter Things in Life!

Welcome to Sunday and the newest Paper Players (#703) challenge.  This week, Claire selected a CAS (clean and simple) card style with a Fruit theme for us to play with. 

Fruit is a popular motif at the moment: Both Inspiration Station (#64) and Time Out (#270) are showcasing Fruit and Love Those Pretty Papers (#2) has a Summertime Twist, so I picked a Fruity patterned paper.  I am also sharing this card with Krafty Chicks (#729) for their CAS week.

I selected to use one of the card templates that can be found on page 22 of the 2024/2025 Annual Stampin’ Up! Catalog for my layout.

Here is the result:

Steps:

• Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Basic White Thick cardstock.
• Accent Mat: (2⅝” x 5⅛”) Garden Green cardstock.
• Focal Panel: (2½” x 5”) Pineapple patterned piece of paper from the retired Tutti Frutti Designer Series Paper pack
• Sentiment Banner Flag: (2⅛” x ⅞”) Garden Green cardstock scrap.
  • The sentiment, Enjoy the sweeter things in life, from the retired Sweet Citrus stamp set was stamped with Versamark in the split style and heat-set with White Embossing Powder.
  • The Banner was hand-flagged with Paper Snips.

Sweet and oh, so simple.  Truly just Stamps, Ink and Paper!

A summer go to fruit in the House of “J” is Pineapple, my husband’s favorite.
