Welcome back! After running about doing some chores…I had some time to play.
What a lovely sketch from team Atlantic Hearts (#590). I had to do a real dig through my stash to find my Doily Die. I selected the pretty line up of colors suggested by Creative Colour (#154) to bring my idea together.
Here is the result:
Steps:
- Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Basic Black cardstock.
- Accent Mat: (5¼” x 4”) Flirty Flamingo cardstock.
- Background Panel: (3⅞” x 5⅛’) Basic Black cardstock.
- The sentiment, You’re the Best, from the Happiest Day stamp set was stamped with Versamark ink and heat-set with White Embossing Powder.
- Doily Element: (4¼” x 4¼”) Basic White cardstock die-cut with the retired Large Paper Doily Die.
- Decoration – Flowers: Fresh Freesia, Flirty Flamingo, Basic White and Granny Apple Green cardstock scraps die-cut with various dies from the Cheerful Daisies Dies set (Flowers) and the retired Apple Blossoms Dies set (Leaves).
All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the sketch with the Flower Centers and the Large Flower popped up with Dimensionals.
Loving how these pretty colored Flowers and the Doily pop against the Black background.
