Simply Zinnia

Facebook Case-ing Tuesday (#471) Design Team catch-up.  Our weekly Catalog CASE (Copy and Selectively Edit) of one the cards found on page 100 of the Annual Catalog.   We invite you to re-create it any way you like.  Inspiration and Color for my design: Facebook SU! Colour (July).

Here is the result:

Steps:

• Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Basic Beige cardstock.
• Background Panel: (3” x 5½”) Garden Green Striped patterned piece of paper from the 2024/2025 Regals Collection Designer Series Paper pack.
• Large Circle Shapes – Zinnias: (4¼” x 5½”) Basic White cardstock.
  • The Zinnia Flower image from the Simply Zinnia stamp set, an On-Line Exclusive product, was stamped six times.The Zinnias were colored with Stampin’ Blends Markers.  Colors: Light and Dark Bubble Bath, Berry Burst and Blackberry Bliss.
  • The Zinnias were then die-cut with the coordinating die from the Simply Zinnia Dies set.
• Small Circle Shapes: Leaves: Garden Green cardstock scrap was die-cut with the three Leaf dies from the retired Apple Blossom Dies set.

All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the sketch and two of the Flowers were popped up with Dimensionals.  I chose not to add a sentiment as this card could be used for many different purposes.  Several Fresh Freesia colored Tinsel Gems were added for a bit of sparkle.
