Welcome back! Happy Sunday…
Today, I am playing with a stripped-down version of the Atlantic Hearts (#586) Sketch and the colors suggested by Retro Rubber (#235) for a fun little guy card.
My color translation: Soft Sea Foam; Lemon Lolly; Daffodil Delight; Azure Afternoon; Lost Lagoon; and Balmy Blue.
Here is the result:
Steps:
- Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Lost Lagoon cardstock.
- Background Panel: (4” x 5¼”) Soft Sea Foam cardstock dry-embossed with the retired Cross-Hatch Basics 3D Embossing Folder.
- Diamond: Lost Lagoon cardstock scraps die-cut with the Diamond Box die from the retired All That Dies set.
- Sentiment Flag: Basic White cardstock scrap.
- The word, Classic, from the Car image stamp, from the He’s All That stamp set (circa 2022) was selectively colored with Azure Afternoon ink and die-cut with the Flag die, also from the All That Dies set.
- Decoration – Classic Car: Basic White cardstock scrap.
- The Car, from the Car image stamp was selectively colored with Balmy Blue ink and die-cut with the Oval die, also from the All That Dies set.
- Two small Yellow/Gold Adhesive Dots (retired) from my stash were added to the Headlights.
All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the sketch and the Classic Car Oval was popped up with Dimensionals.
