Holiday Latte Love – Merry Christmas

Welcome back!  Another new work week and I am stepping into the Christmas Holidays with this card.

Jingle Belles (#2412) is looking for a patterned paper mix-up using a least three different patterns.  I selected the Shopping Our Stash (#523) Sketch as it had lots of layers to work with.

I am sharing this card with Caffeinated Christmas (#30) for their Coffee theme and the Christmas Krafty Chicks (#720).

Here is the result:

LATTE LOVE BUNDLE – MORE MERRY WISHES – JB2412 – SOS523 – CCCC30 – KCC720

Steps:

  • Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Garden Green cardstock.
  • Background Panel: (4” x 5¼”) Linen patterned piece of paper from the retired Serene Scenery Designer Series Paper pack.
    • The sentiment, a very merry Christmas to you, from the retired More Merry Messages stamp set was stamped into Versamark ink and then into Cherry Cobblerr ink and heat-set with Clear Embossing Powder using the Clear Color Embossing Technique.
  • Left Vertical Strip: (¾” x 4”) Cherry Cobbler Diamond Grid patterned piece of paper from the retired Classic Christmas Designer Series Paper pack.
    • The edge of the Diamond pattern was fussy-cut with Paper Snips.
  • Vertical Strip: (½” x 4”) Striped Twill patterned piece of paper from the retired Warmth & Cheer Designer Series Paper pack.
  • Background Rectangle: (2” x 3”) Cherry Cobbler Striped patterned piece of paper from the retired Tidings of Christmas Designer Series Paper pack.
  • Top Rectangle: (3⅛” x 2¼”) Garden Green and Cherry Cobbler Plaid patterned piece of paper from the retired Plaid Tidings Designer Series Paper pack.
  • Shape(s) – Coffee Cups: (4¼” x 2½”) Basic Beige cardstock.
    • The Coffee Cup image from the Latte Love stamp set, an On-Line Exclusive product, was stamped with Garden Green and Cherry Cobble inks.
    • Using a Blender Pen and additional ink form the Ink Pad Lids, the Coffee Cups were colored.
    • Both the Heart and the Leaf Latte Design images were stamped with Pecan Pie ink.
    • The edges of the cup / coffee were colored in with the SU-100 Stampin’ Blends Marker.
    • The Coffee Cups were die-cut with the coordinating Coffee Cup die from the Latte Love Dies set.

All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the sketch.  The Cherry Cobbler Coffee Cup was popped up with Dimensionals.

A cozy Holiday card…everyone snugged up to the kitchen table to enjoy a cup of coffee together…
