Simply Said – Hello

Happy Sunday!  One more card for today…deadlines keep creeping up on me.

Inspired by the colors, patterns and textures in The Card Concept (#208) photograph and marrying my ideas with the Atlantic Hearts (#581) Sketch.

Here is the result:

Steps:

• Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Smoky Slate cardstock.
• Background Panel: (4” x 5¼”) Black & White Stylized Tile patterned piece of paper from the retired Pattern Party Designer Series Paper pack.
  • Parts of the Tile Design were colored with the retired Light Tahitian Tide Stampin’ Blends Marker.
• Banner: (2⅛” x 5¼”) Black & White Striped patterned piece of paper from the retired True Love Designer Series Paper pack flagged with the retired Tripple Banner Punch.
• Rectangle: (2¼” x 3½”) Tahitian Tide retired cardstock scrap die-cut with the (2” x 3⅜”) Rectangle die from the retired Radiating Stitches Dies set.
• Circle: (1¾” x 1¾”) Basic White cardstock scrap.
  • The sentiment, Hello, from the Simply Said stamp set was stamped with Smoky Slate ink and then die-cut with the (1½”) Stitched Circle die, also from the Radiating Stitches Dies set.
• Decoration: (2¼” x 3¾”) Basic Black cardstock scrap die-cut with the Leafy die from the Flowers of Beauty Dies set.

A length (5”) of retired Basic Black Shimmer Ribbon was added and all elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the sketch. 

A fun and friendly Hello card.
