The Best There Is – Father’s Day

Welcome back!  Happy Saturday. 

Mixing it up for a Father’s Day card:  Paper Craft Crew (#574) Theme, Creative Colour (#145), and Judy’s Freshly Made (#640) Sketch.

Steps:

• Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Pecan Pie cardstock.
• Accent Mat: (4¼” x 5½”) Summer Splash cardstock die-cut with the largest (3¾ x 5”) Deckled Rectangle Die, an On-Line Exclusive offering,
• Background Panel: (4¼” x 5½”) Crumb Cake cardstock die-cut with the next sized (3⅜” x 4¾”) Deckled Rectangle Die and then dry-embossed with the Timber 3D Embossing Folder.
• Stamping: (4¼” x 5½”) Summer Splash cardstock.
  • The Tree image and the sentiment, With Love & Admiration to the Most Amazing Person, from the May 2024 Paper Pumpkin Kit – The Best There Is, were inked with Versamark ink and stamped into Pecan Pie ink and then heat-set with Clear Embossing Powder using the Clear Color Embossing Technique.
  • The Trees were die-cut with the (2⅛”) Deckled Circle Die, also an On-Line Exclusive product.
  • The Sentiment was die-cut with the (1¾”) Deckled Circle Die.
• Sentiment Accent Mat: (2½” x 2½”) Pecan Pie cardstock also die-cut with the (2⅛”) Deckled Circle Die.

All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the sketch.  The Matted Sentiment was popped up with Dimensionals and 4” length of retired Pecan Pie Bordered Ribbon was folded and tucked under it and a few retired Adhesive-Backed Cork Rounds were added to complete the card.

A super guy card perfect for Father’s Day or to celebrate any fellow for a multiple of occasions.
