Fresh Spring Floral – Alphabest

Welcome back!  It’s Friday and it is the start of the Easter Holiday.  Best wishes to you all.

Playing with the Facebook March SU! Colors, the Paper Craft Crew (#563) Tic Tac Toe Board, and the Sketch Saturday (#747) Layout.

Here is the result:

Steps:

• Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Calypso Coral cardstock.
• Background Panel: (5¼” x 4”) Crushed Curry cardstock overlayed with the same sized Dotted patterned Vellum from the Vellum Basics Specialty Designer Series Paper pack.
• Diagonal Stripes: (¼” x 4¾”) Azure Afternoon, Calypso Coral, Gorgeous Grape, and Crushed Curry cardstock scraps.
• Label Accent Mat: (4½” x 2½”) Very Vanilla cardstock die-cut with the Largest Elongated Hexagon die from the Nested Essentials Dies set.
• Label: (4” x 2”) Azure Afternoon cardstock die-cut with the next-sized down Elongated Hexagon die from the same die set.
• Sentiment Letters – fresh: Very Vanilla cardstock scrap.
  • The Frame image from the Alphabest stamp set was stamped five (5) times with Early Espresso ink.
  • The “f”, “r”, “e”, “s”, and “h” Letter images were stamped inside the Frame with the same colors: Azure Afternoon, Calypso Coral, Gorgeous Grape and Crushed Curry inks.
  • Each Letter Frame was punched out with the coordinating Best Label Punch.
• Decoration – Flowers: Gorgeous Grape, Calypso Coral and Crushed Curry cardstock scraps die-cut with the Open Flower die from the Thoughtful Expressions Dies set.

All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the sketch.  The Letter Frames were popped up with Dimensionals and Rhinestone Basic Jewels were added to the Flower Centers.  A small Calypso Coral Braided Linen Trim (retired) Bow was added to complete the card.

The world is freshly anew with an abundance of Spring colors…from Flowers to Easter Eggs.  Enjoy!!
