Inspirational Sketches – Thinking of You

Hi!  Back again…Still cleaning up after the installation of new windows but just want to post about this card I made.  I had it in my mind all week but just got a chance to make it.  Playing with Creative Colours (#133).

Here is the result:

Steps:

• Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Crumb Cake cardstock.
• Frame: (5¼” x 4″) Very Vanilla cardstock.
  • The sentiment, Thinking of you, from the On-Line Exclusive Feathered Flight stamp set was stamped with Shaded Spruce ink.
• Inset: (4¾” x 3¼”) Shaded Spruce, Crumb Cake and Crushed Curry cardstock.
  • Using the Swirled patterned die from the Patchwork Pieces Dies set all four colors of cardstock were die cut.
  • All selected patchwork pieces were fitted into the Very Vanilla Frame and dry-embossed with the On-Line Exclusive Cross Hatch Basics 3D Embossing Folder.
• Focal Image – Mushrooms: Very Vanilla cardstock.
  • The Mushroom image from the Inspirational Sketches stamp set was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink.
  • The Mushrooms were colored with Stampin’ Blends Markers.  Colors:  Medium Daffodil Delight, Dark Crumb Cake and Light Shaded Spruce.
  • The Mushrooms were fussy-cut with Paper Snips.

All elements were adhered to the card base and the Mushrooms were popped up with Dimensionals.

A nice nature card suitable for a fellow but perfect for any that appreciate the great outdoors.
