Back again! A few more challenges…
Facebook Colour INKspiration Challenges are a favorite and the pastels or subtle color collection is one I generally struggle with. So, what to do with (#160)? Then along comes a sketch from Atlantic Hearts (#567) and the light bulb went off!

Here is the result:

Steps:
- Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Highland Heather cardstock.
- Background Panel: (5⅜” x 4⅛”) Basic White cardstock.
- Cross Strips: (½” x 4⅛”) and (5⅜” x ½”) Highland Heather Gingham patterned piece of paper from my scrap bin.
- Circles: Highland Heather, Balmy Blue, Bubble Bath, Lemon Lolly and Soft Sea Foam cardstock scraps die-cut with all of the Stitched Circle dies from the Stylish Shapes Dies set to create the off-side Rings.
- Sentiment Tag: Basic White cardstock scrap.
- The sentiment, Happy Birthday, from the Artistically Inked stamp set was split stamped using the Highland Heather Stampin’ Write Marker.
- The sentiment was then die-cut with the smallest Stitched Tag die from the Tailor Made Tags Dies set.
- Bow: Basic White Baker’s Twine dyed with Highland Heather ink (via a water bath) and tied into a simple bow.
All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the sketch. The Sentiment Tag was popped up with Dimensionals and finished off with the Bow.
A fun and funky birthday card great for sweet teen.
