Again, it is Friday! How does that happen? The week just flew by…
Putting together an idea for a few challenges: I started with the Color Board over at Sunday Stamps (#328) full of my favorite Neutral colors. Influenced by Tic Tac Toe (#242) to add a Floral element and add some Embossing using the Try A Sketch On Tuesday (#641) for the overall layout that I flipped to the left.

I am sharing this card with Farm Quest (#47) as Echinacea can definitely be found in a Country Field and with Krafty Chicks (#705) for their Anything Goes option.

Here is the result:

Steps:
- Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Crumb Cake cardstock.
- Background Panel: (4” x 5¼”) Very Vanilla cards stock dry-embossed with the retired Subtle 3D Embossing Folder.
- Cross Strip: (1¼” x 5¼”) Crumb Cake cardstock dry-embossed with the retired Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder.
- Focal Image – Echinacea Flower: Early Espresso, Wild Wheat and retired Cinnamon Cider cardstock scraps
- Using the Echinacea die from the retired Harvest Dies set, the full Flower was die cut from Early Espresso; the Flower Head from Wild Wheat and the Flower Center from Cinnamon Cider.
- Using a Sponge Dauber and Early Espresso ink, a bit of color was added to the Flower Center and the Flower Head.
- Using the Early Espresso Stampin’ Write Marker, details were added to the Flower; Tiny Dots to the Flower Center, Petals to the Flower Head and Line Detail to the Leaves and Stem.
- Sentiment: Very Vanilla cardstock scrap.
- The sentiment, Thank You, from the Wild Ferns stamp set was stamped with retired Cinnamon Cider ink and the Banner was trimmed on the diagonal with Paper Snips.
- The edges were also sponged with Early Espresso ink.
All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the sketch. The Sentiment Banner was popped up with Dimensionals.
A very earthy card and who doesn’t need a stash of Thank you cards.
