Hi! Back again. Sundays are perfect days to play in the Studio…
So let’s play! At Shopping Our Stash (#515) we are putting our best face forward, so I picked the Poppet from Stylin’ Girl. To present her in her best light, I opted to CASE (Copy and Selectively Edit) a card created by Jo Blackman for Inspire Create (#162) and the fun set of colors suggested by Color Throwdown (#781). I added a few extra hearts for the Alphabet Letter “X” challenge, too.

Steps:
- Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Petal Pink cardstock.
- Accent Mat: (3¾” x 5”) Granny Apple Green cardstock.
- Background Panel: (3⅝” x 4⅞”) Basic White cardstock.
- The sentiment, Sweet Friend, from the By My Side stamp set was stamped with Granny Apple Green ink.
- Various Circles were punched out of the Petal Pink Daisy/Citrus patterned piece of paper from the Delightfully Eclectic Designer Series Paper pack. Punch sizes: (1½”); (1”) and (¾”).
- Flagged Banner: (1” x 4⅝”) Daffodil Delight Diagonal Cross Hatch patterned piece of paper from the Les Shoppes Designer Series Paper pack punched at both ends with the Banner Pick A Punch.
- Focal Image: (2¼” x 4”) Basic White cardstock.
- The Girl from the retired Stylin’ Girl stamp set was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored with Stampin’ Blends Markers. Colors used: Skin – Light Petal Pink; Hair – Light Daffodil Delight and Wild Wheat; Hairband and Shoes – Light and Dark Granny Apple Green; and Dress – Dark Daffodil Delight and Granny Apple Green.
- The image was die-cut with the (1⅜” x 3⅜”) Elongated Hexagon die from the Countryside Corners Dies set.
- The edges were colored with Granny Apple Green ink using a Sponge Dauber.
All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the sketch. The Focal image was popped up with Dimensionals and two enamel Hearts, Daffodil Delight and Petal Pink, from the Adhesive Backed Hearts and Flowers set were added for a little X-tra friendship love.
Isn’t it fun when a bunch of ideas come together to result in such a nice card.

Jolanda, I am loving your sweet card. That girl is just charming. I am inspired by your use of the lemon DSP. It is one of my favorite patterns and I struggle with how/when to use it. Thanks for joining us at Inspire.Create
