Everlasting Beauty – Happy Anniversary

And it is already Wednesday!  Getting this one in before everyone arrives for class this afternoon.

Frosted Pinks for The Flower Challenge (#88); Four Seasons (February); and Color Dare (#587) along with the CAS Colours & Sketches (#531) layout which I flipped to the vertical position.

Here is the result:

EVERLASTING BEATY – EVERYDAY DETAILS DIES – TFC88 – FSC Feb 2024 – CD587 – CC&S531

Steps:

  • Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Smoky Slate cardstock.
  • Accent Panel: (4” x 5¼”) Melon Mambo cardstock.
  • Focal Panel: (just shy of 4” x 5¼”) Basic White cardstock.
    • The sentiment, Happy Anniversary, from the Everlasting Beauty stamp set was split in two and stamped in the bottom center position with Versamark ink and heat-set with Silver Embossing Powder.
    • The Bell Drop Floral image from the same stamp set was also stamped with Versamark and heat-set with Silver Embossing Powder.
    • The Flower was colored with Stampin’ Blends MarkersFlowers – Light Melon Mambo (for Rosy) and Leaves – Light Smoky Slate (for Mist).
    • To create the two Cross Strips, I chose to die-cut the Criss-Cross Dotted Band from the Everyday Details Dies set on either side of the stamped images.
  • Heart: Basic White cardstock scrap scribbled with the Light Melon Mambo Stampin’ Blend Marker and punched out with a small Heart Punch.

A very clean and simple Anniversary card with a double blossom celebrating a united pair.

  1. How pretty, Jolanda! The dainty floral image is delightful, as are the die cut borders with the pink showing through from beneath. Such a sweet card and I’m so glad you shared with us at The Flower Challenge!
