Timeless Arrangements – You Are the Best

Hi!  A hand drawn doodle today…

Playing with Creative Colour (#128) and the Tuesday Morning (#744) Sketch.

Here is the result:

Steps:

• Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Basic White cardstock.
• Background Panel: (5¼” x 4”) Lemon Lime Twist cardstock.
• Cross Strip / Sentiment Banner: (5¼” x ½”) Basic White cardstock scrap.
  • The sentiment, You are the best, from the Timeless Arrangements stamp set was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink.
• Accent Mat: (2¼” x 2¾”) Blackberry Bliss cardstock scrap.
• Focal Panel: (2” x 2½”) Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper.
  • I doodled the flower vase using my Fine-Tipped Black Liquid Gel Pen.
  • The image was lightly painted with Sweet Sorbet, Lemon Lime Twist and Blackberry Bliss inks using the Fine-Tipped Water Painter Brush.
  • Additional depth of color was added using the Light Sweet Sorbet, Lemon Lime Twist and Blackberry Bliss Stampin’ Blends Markers.
• Decoration – Flower: Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper scrap.
  • An additional Flower was doodled, colored and fussy-cut with Paper Snips.

All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the sketch.  The Flower decoration was popped up with Dimensionals.

A bright pop of color framing a lovely floral vase for an all occasion clean and simple card.
