Notes of Nature – Field Notes

Hi! A little play time in the Studio…on a rainy Sunday.

Working with the Creative Colour (#127) suggestions and the Atlantic Hearts (#563) Sketch.

Here is the result:

Steps:

• Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Petal Pink cardstock.
• Accent Mat: (3⅞” x 5⅛”) Copper Clay cardstock.
• Background Panel: (3¾” x 5”) Basic White cardstock.
  • Using a Blending Brush, Copper Clay ink, one of the Stencils from the Foursquare Decorative Masks set and some copy paper for masking, the vertical strip was created.
• Banner Flag: (3½” x 1¼”) Pretty Peacock cardstock flagged by hand with Paper Snips.
• Circle Element: (2⅝”) Basic White cardstock scrap.  Notes of Nature stamp set
  • The Field Notes image was stamped with 2^nd Generation Copper Clay ink.
  • The Leaf image was added with Pretty Peacock ink.
  • The Splatter image was added with Petal Pink ink.
  • The collage was then die-cut with the (2⅝”) Stitched Circle die from the Stylish Shapes Dies set.
  • The Small Floral image was stamped twice onto another scrap of Basic White cardstock with Basic Gray ink and colored with the Dark Petal Pink Stampin’ Blend Marker.  The Flowers were fussy-cut with Paper Snips.

All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the sketch.  The Small Flowers were popped up with Dimensionals and three Copper Clay colored 2023/2025 In-Color Dots were added to create a lovely greeting card.
