One more card for today as there is an impending deadline.
The Mood Board over at Just Us Girls (#711) is nothing if not cozy.

I selected the Tuesday Morning (#741) Sketch and am sharing with Time Out (#255) for their Inspired Words Week = Winter.

Here is the result:

Steps:
- Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Smoky Slate cardstock.
- Upper Panel: (5¼” x 2¾”) Basic White cardstock dry-embossed with the Twisted Rope 3D Embossing Folder.
- Lower Panel: (5¼” x 1½”) Gray Scalloped patterned piece of paper from the Les Shoppes Designer Series Paper pack.
- Cross Strip: (5¼” x ½”) Smoky Slate cardstock scrap dry-embossed with the Sale-a-bration Softly Sophisticated Embossing Folder.
- Decoration – Cardigans: Basic White cardstock scraps.
- The Cardigan image from the retired Forever Friends stamp set was stamped twice with Gray Granite ink.
- The Cardigans were colored with the Light Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blends Marker to be opposites of each other.
- The Cardigans were fussy-cut with Paper Snips and dry-embossed with the retired Tasteful Textiles 3D Embossing Folder.
- Sentiment Banner: (3⅛” x ¾”) Basic White cardstock scrap.
- The sentiment, TIME FOR A CARD-IGAN, from the same stamp set was stamped with Gray Granite ink.
- The Banner was hand-flagged with Paper Snips.
- The Banner was then dry-embossed with the Tasteful Textiles 3D Embossing Folder.
All elements were arranged to resemble the sketch. One Cardigan and the Sentiment Banner were popped up with Dimensionals. The sentiment does not show well in the photograph but is quite legible in real life.
In “a world of one color and the sound of the wind”, it seems like it is the perfect time to cozy up in a sweater and share a cup of cocoa, tea or coffee with a friend.
Thanks for spending a bit more of your time with me today. Cheers, Jolanda!
