Timeless Arrangements – Planted Paradise

Welcome back!  Off to a late start today…

Playing with the Atlantic Hearts (#558) Sketch and the Creative Colours (#122) Selection using the new stamp set Planted Paradise for the Facebook Joy of Sets (January 2024) suggestion and Krafty Chicks (#697) to use Stamps.

Here is the result:

Steps:

• Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Pretty Peacock cardstock.
• Background Panel: (4” x 5½”) Moody Mauve Cross Hatch patterned piece of paper from the Earthen Elegance Designer Series Paper pack hand-torn along the bottom edge.
• Center Strip: (4” x 3”) Gray Granite Sandy patterned piece of paper also from the Earthen Elegance Designer Series Paper pack hand-torn diagonally along the top and bottom edges.
• Focal Element – Potted Plant: Basic White cardstock scraps.
  • The Round Pot image from the Planted Paradise stamp set was stamped with Moody Mauve ink and the decorations were colored with the Light Crumb Cake and Dark Pretty Peacock Stampin’ Blends Markers.
  • The Pot was fussy-cut with Paper Snips and dry-embossed with the Twisted Rope 3D Embossing Folder.
  • Two of the larger Plant Leaf images, also from the Planted Paradise stamp set, were stamped twice with Pretty Peacock ink and colored in with the Light Pretty Peacock Stampin’ Blend Marker.
  • The Leaves were then fussy-cut and arranged to fit in the Pot.
• Sentiment Flag: (1⅞” x 1⅛”) Crumb Cake cardstock scrap.
  • The sentiment, Hope Your Day is Filled with Everything Good, from the Timeless Arrangements stamp set was stamped with Pretty Peacock ink and hand-flagged with Paper Snips.
  • The edges of the Flag were highlighted with Pretty Peacock ink using a Sponge Dauber.

All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the sketch.  The Potted Plant was popped up with Dimensionals and the Sentiment Flag was turned sideways and tucked behind the Leaves.

A subtle friendship card suitable for both men and women.
