Sip & Celebrate – Happy Holidays

A favorite style – clean and simple.  Creating some Holiday Happiness.

Theme: CAS on Friday (#271) Christmas with Less Is More (#497) Deck the Halls.  Colors: If You Give a Crafter a Cookie (#187) Silver & Gold and the Layout: CAS Colours & Sketches (#526).

Here is the result:

Steps:

• Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Wild Wheat cardstock.
• Background Panel: (5¼” x 4”) Basic White cardstock.
• Triple Blocks – Champagne Glasses: Basic White cardstock, Brushed Silver cardstock and Gold Vellum scraps from my Bins
  • From the Sip & Celebrate Dies (retired), three Champagne Glasses were die-cut from both the retired Gold Vellum paper and the Basic White cardstock with the Champagne Flute die.
  • The Brushed Silver cardstock (retired) was die-cut with the Bubble Strip die from the same die set.
  • The die-cut Brushed Silver Bubble Strip was again die-cut with the top of the Champagne Flute die and trimmed round with Paper Snips.
  • The Brushed Silver Bubbles piece was sandwiched in between the Basic White and Gold Vellum Champagne Glasses.
• Sentiment: Brushed Silver cardstock scraps.
  • The words, Happy and Holidays, from the retired Merry Christmas Thinlits Dies set, were die-cut.

All elements were added to the card base to resemble the sketch.  Rhinestone Basic Jewels were added to act as bubbles for seasonal sparkle.

Decking the Halls with Christmas Cheer and sipping a bit of Bubbly to make it more festive.  Prost!
