Notes of Nature – Hello

Guess what came?  New product from the Jan – Apr Mini Catalog and I just had to play!

A clean and simple card for Color Throwdown (#770) using the Notes of Nature stamp set and die bundle and watercolor paints in my stash.

Here is the result:

NOTES OF NATURE BUNDLE – CTD770

Steps:

  • Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Basic Gray cardstock.
  • Background Panel: (4⅛” x 5⅜”) Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper.
  • Painted Panel: (3” x 5”) Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper.
    • Sweet Alfalfa and Black Emerald LuminArte Twinkling H2O Watercolor Paints were used to add blocks to the Panel with the Wide-Tipped Water Painter Brush.
    • Once dry, the Splatter image stamp was randomly stamped with Versamark ink and heat-set with Gold Embossing Powder including an overlap onto the Background Panel.
  • Decoration – Leaf Spray: Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper die-cut with the Leaf Spray die.
    • The Leaf Spray die-cut was painted with the color Wild Vine, also from LuminArte.
  • Sentiment Label: (2” x ⅝”) Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper.
    • The sentiment, Just a little note to say hello, was also stamped with Versamark ink but heat-set with Black Embossing Powder.

All elements were adhered to the card base with both the Leaf Spray and the Sentiment popped up with Dimensionals.

A quick and easy note card but so interesting in these colors. I think I am going to love this new stamp set.

Thanks for letting me give you a sneak peek.  Cheers,  Jolanda!
