Floral Celebration

One last card for today.  I have plans for tomorrow and may not be able to get into the Studio…

Back to my favorite style, clean and simple, for this card.  I am playing with the current Tic Tac Toe (#235) Board bottom line – Sparkle, Flowers, and Celebrate.  I chose the Facebook Colour INKspiration (#155) purple-toned colors and the Atlantic Hearts (#551) sketch because it was perfect for a clean and simple card.  I am sharing this card with both Less is More (#496) and Krafty Chicks (#690) for CAS and Crafter’s Café (#303) for a Feminine card.

Here is the result:

Steps:

• Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Fresh Freesia cardstock.
• Focal Panel: (4” x 5¼”) Basic White cardstock.
  • A Mask / Stencil was created with the (1⅜” x 1⅜”) Square die from the retired Layering Square Framelits Dies set using a piece of Vellum (4” x 5¼”) so that I could see through it.
  • With a Blending Brush, Fresh Freesia ink was added through the Mask to create the three Diamond Shaped Squares.
  • The Three Blossoms image from the retired Vintage Christmas stamp set was stamped into the Squares with Highland Heather, Cherry Cobbler and Gorgeous Grape inks.
  • The sentiment, celebrate you, from the Dainty Delight stamp set was stamped with Cherry Cobbler ink.
  • For sparkle, the Flowers were painted with the Wink of Stella Glitter Brush.
  • For additional sparkle, Iridescent Rhinestone Jewels were added to the Flower centers.

And that was it!  What a pretty set of colors for a sweet feminine card.
