Welcome back! Friday already…the week just slips on by.
Today I am playing with the Color Dare (#573) colors and the Try Stampin’ On Tuesday (#631) sketch.
Here is the result:
Steps:
- Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Basic White cardstock.
- Accent Mat: (4” x 5¼”) Copper Clay cardstock.
- Focal Panel Upper: (3⅞” x 2⅛”) Basic White cardstock.
- The Text image from the Gorgeously Made stamp set was stamped with 2nd Generation (stamped-off once) Calypso Coral ink (for Pumpkin).
- The Leaf image from the same stamp set was stamped with Lost Lagoon ink (for Jade).
- The sentiment, Thanks for all you do, from the On-Line Exclusive Timeless Charm stamp set was stamped with both 1st Generation and off-set with 2nd Generation Copper Clay ink (for Acorn) for a shadow look.
- Focal Panel Lower: (3⅞” x 3”) Copper Clay and White Metallic Plaid patterned piece of paper from the On-Line Exclusive Tartan Foil Specialty Designer Series Paper pack.
- Cross Strip: (4” x ½”) Tone-on-Tone Copper Clay Plaid patterned piece of paper which is the reverse side of the Designer Series Paper used for the Lower Panel.
- Flag: (1” x 2”) Lost Lagoon cardstock scrap.
- The cardstock was flagged with the Banners Pick A Punch.
- The Flag was then dry-embossed in both directions with the retired Subtle 3D Embossing Folder for a linen / ribbon look.
- The Flag was trimmed to (1½”) in length.
All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the sketch. For a bit of bling, three retired Amber Gems were added to the Cross Strip.

Just beautiful. Love the text at the top & stamping over that with the leaves. Love the texture on the banner; definitely looks like a ribbon. And the shadow stamping on the sentiment is genius. Thank you for sharing your talents at Color Dare!

What a lovely card, Jolanda! The colors are perfectly balanced and the background stamping adds so much interest. I have that Tartan Foil paper but have been looking for inspiration on how to use it.
