Dainty Delight – Thank You

Sneaking one more card in for today.  A pretty thank you card.  Always a needed item…

Playing with: Simply Clean & Simple (#5) for style and theme; Color Throwdown (#767) for the color palette; Try Stampin’ On Tuesday (#630) for the sketch; and Happy Little Stampers (November) for the technique.

Here is the result:

DAINTY DELIGHT – SCS005 – CTD767 – TSOT630 – HLS Watercolor Nov 2023

Steps:

  • Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Just Jade cardstock. A retired favorite.
  • Card Front: (4” x 5¼”) Basic White cardstock.
    • I created a Mask with the largest Circle die from the Deckled Circles Dies set.
    • Using a Blending Brush, Bubble Bath ink was added to the left side in the arc shape.
    • I created another two Masks using a smaller Circle die and a Rectangle die from both the Deckled Circles Dies set and the Deckled Rectangles Dies set.
    • Using another Blending Brush, Crushed Curry ink was added to create the partial oval shape.
    • The larger Floral image from the Dainty Delight stamp set was stamped with waterproof Stazon Jet Black ink.
    • Using the Fine-Tipped Water Painter Brush and ink from the ink pad lids, the image was water-colored.  Colors selected: Floral Centers – Cajun Craze, Flowers – Bubble Bath, Grasses etc. – Crushed Curry; and Leaves – Just Jade (retired).
    • The sentiment, Thank You for your kindness, from the same stamp set was stamped with Cajun Craze ink.

…and that is a wrap!  A single layer clean and simple card.
