Gorgeously Made – Thank You

Welcome back! Friday, already…where did the week go?

Chasing a few deadlines: Inkspirational (#299) and Addicted to CAS (#247) for the Style and Technique; Festive Friday (#144) for a variety of elements; Heart’s Quest (#39) for the theme with the Facebook Colour INKSpiration (#152) colors and the Sketch Saturday (#735) layout.

Here is the result:

Steps:

• Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Gray Granite cardstock.
• Accent Mat: (4” x 5¼”) Night of Navy cardstock.
• Focal Panel: (3¾” x 5”) Basic White cardstock.
  • Side Strip: (1⅛” x 5”) exposed edge with the balance of the panel masked using Masking Paper.
  • Using Blending Brushes, Gray Granite, Starry Sky and Night of Navy inks were added for an Ombre effect.
  • The Leaf Spray image from the Gorgeously Made stamp set was stamped with Night of Navy ink.
  • Sentiment Block / Frame: (2⅛” x 1⅝”)
  • Using a piece of Copy Paper, the Block shape was die-cut with the (1⅛” x 1⅝”) sized Rectangle die from the Nested Essentials Dies set.
  • Using a Blending Brush, Gray Granite ink was added.
  • The Rectangle die-cut was also used as a Mask and three Stripes were added using a stamp from the retired Work of Art stamp set with Starry Sky ink.
  • The Mask was removed and the sentiment, Thanks So Much, from the On-Line Exclusive Tropical Leaf stamp set was stamped with Night of Navy ink.
  • Two small Hearts from the Country Bouquet stamp set were added with Starry Sky ink.

The panels were adhered to the card base and a few Rustic Metallic Dots were added for a bit of interest.
