Land Among The Stars

Tuesday Design Time.  For the Cardz 4 Guys (#331) challenge, I have selected one of my favorite quotes and let the wonderful Designer Series Paper carry the load.

Here is the result:

Steps:

• Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Night of Navy cardstock.
• Accent Panel: (4⅛” x 5⅜”) Gold Foil
  • Tip: Use a Die or two to cut center of panel to conserve the foil for another project.
• Sentiment: Basic White cardstock printed with Night of Navy Hex Value Code computer generated quote.
  • The cardstock was trimmed to (3¾” x 5”) to fit in behind the patterned paper.
• Circle Accent: (3½” x 3½”) Distressed Gold Specialty Paper
  • The circle opening was die-cut with the (2⅞”) Circle die from the Stylish Shapes Dies set.
• Top Panel: (4” x 5¼”) Gold Star Night of Navy patterned piece of paper from the Shining Brightly Specialty Designer Series Paper pack.
  • The circle opening was die-cut with the (3”) Circle die from the retired Stitched Shapes Dies set.

All layers were adhered with the circle openings framing the quote.  So simple, so stunning.

What a great quote!  I keep this one in my mind as a personal motto.  A super encouragement card.
