Timeless Charm – Best Wishes

One last card for today…

Playing with Less Is More (#491) for a clean and simple card and Color Dare (#654) for the color palette.

Here is the result:

Steps:

• Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Basic White cardstock.
  • The Corners of the card were rounded using that feature of the retired Detailed Trio Punch.
  • The sentiment, Best Wishes & Happy Thoughts, from the Nature’s Prints stamp set was stamped with Pebbled Path ink.
• Focal Panel: (2” x 3”) Basic White cardstock.
  • The Floral image from the On-Line Exclusive Timeless Charm stamp set was stamped with Pebble Path ink (for Pewter).
  • The Flower was stamped again onto a scrap of Masking Paper and used to cover the Bloom.
  • The Squarish Splotch image was stamped twice with Granny Apple Green ink (for Avocado) over the Floral image.
  • Using a Stampin’ Blends Markers, the Flower was colored.  Colors chosen: Flower – Light Melon Mambo (for Raspberry) and Light Calypso Coral (for Nectarine) and Leaves – Light Granny Apple Green.
  • The Panel was die-cut with the (1⅞” x 2½”) Rounded Corner Rectangle die from the Nested Essentials Dies set.

Keeping it simple, the Floral panel was popped up with Dimensionals for a bit of interest.

A pretty little birthday card.
