Celebrate – Happy Birthday To You

One last deadline for today…

Playing with the super pretty colors chosen by the group over at Facebook’s Colour INKspiration (#150) challenge and selecting the current Atlantic Hearts (#540) sketch.

Here is the result:

Steps:

• Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Pretty Peacock cardstock.
• Background Rectangles: (3¾” x 1”) Pumpkin Pie; (3¾” x 1½”) Calypso Coral; and (3¾” x 2”) Sweet Sorbet Designer Series Paper patterns from the 2023/2024 Brights; 2023/2024 Subtles and 2022/2024 In-Color Collections
• Tag: (2½” x 5”) Basic White cardstock punched with the retired Ornate Tag Topper Punch.
  • The Birthday Cake image and Celebrate sentiment from the retired Happy Birthday To You stamp set were stamped with Pretty Peacock ink.
  • The Birthday Cake image was colored with Stampin’ Blends Markers.  Colors chosen: Dark Pumpkin Pie, Light Calypso Coral, Sweet Sorbet, Old Olive, Pretty Peacock and Petal Pink.

All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the sketch with the Tag popped up with Dimensionals.  A small Double Bow made from retired Old Olive Linen Thread was added to the Tag.

The inspiration photo prompted me to pull out the Floral Iced Birthday Cake image as I liked it a lot but didn’t really get to use it enough.
